Refunds
How to refund a registration fee, fully or partially, from the Add On Sport participant dashboard.
Refunds allow you to return the registration fee to the participant, either fully or partially. They are executed from the participant list.
How to process a refund
- Go to Participants in the event dashboard
- Locate the registration and open its actions
- Select the refund option
- Indicate the amount to be refunded. It cannot exceed the maximum refundable amount of the registration
- Confirm
The refund is processed directly against the payment gateway used to charge the registration, and the result is recorded in the system.
The transaction fee for the payment is maintained even if the amount is refunded: the payment processing has already taken place. Consult My rate.
Refunds with multiple charges
If the registration had several charges (for example, a subsequent expansion), the refund can be split into several operations. If one fails, the dashboard informs you of the partial amount that was processed so you can complete the rest.
Where refunds are reflected
- In the financial summary of the event, on the Refunds line, deducting from the earnings
- In the transaction history of the event, where each operation appears with its type (Charge or Refund), date, concept, method, amount, commission, and status, along with the totals of what has been charged, refunded, and the commissions
Deadlines
Once the refund is processed, the time it takes for the participant to see the money in their account depends on their bank (usually a few business days).
