Create a new event
Step-by-step guide to the Add On Sport event creation wizard. Basic information, dates, location, and contact.

To create an event, click New event in the dashboard. The wizard will guide you through these steps:
1. Basic information
Field | Description |

Event name | The public name that participants will see (minimum 3 characters) |
Event type | Select the type (e.g., sports) |
Sport | The sport of the event |
Modality | Modality within the sport; you can specify a custom one |
Distance | Distance of the race; also supports a custom value |
Description | Briefly describe your event |
2. Dates and configuration
- Start date and end date of the event
- Registration start and end: registrations must close before or at the start of the event
- Commissions: select who pays the platform commission (organizer or participant)
- Visibility: Public (visible on the events page) or Hidden (only accessible via direct link)
3. Location
- Select the country
- Search for the postal code (minimum 3 digits) and select the municipality
- Optionally, enable the address and complete street, number, and details
4. Contact
- Main email (mandatory) and secondary email
- Phone number (minimum 9 digits)
5. Create the event
Click Create Event. The event is created and you enter its dashboard, where the configuration continues:
- Registration fees — prices, spots, and restrictions
- Form — the data you will request from participants
- Payment methods — how you will collect registrations
- Website — appearance of the microsite
- Publish and share
