From zero to published: step by step

The full journey to create an event, configure fees and form, and publish it.

This guide walks, in order, through everything needed to go from zero to a published event accepting registrations.

1. Create the event

On the dashboard, click New event and complete the wizard: basic information, event and registration dates, location and contact. Full guide: Create a new event.

If it's the new edition of an event you already ran, start by duplicating it and save almost all the configuration.

2. Choose how to charge

Under Settings → Payment methods / POS, decide between the platform's POS or your own, and which methods you offer. Guide: Payment methods.

3. Create the registration fees

Under Settings → Registration Fees, create the fees with their prices, limits and restrictions. Overview: Registration fees.

4. Design the form

Under Settings → Form, define the data you ask for: fields, required flags, extra costs and conditions. Guide: Registration form.

5. Tune the communications (optional)

6. Prepare the public website

Under Settings → Website, customize colors, sections and banner. Guide: Event website. Also review My Registration and the public participant list.

7. Publish and promote

Registrations open on their own on the configured date. Under Publish the event you get the main link, section links and the iframe. Guide: Publish and share.

Checklist

  • Organizer details and POS configured

  • Event and registration dates correct

  • Fees with prices, places and restrictions

  • Form with the needed fields (and only those)

  • Public website reviewed on mobile

  • A test registration completed end to end

Always make a test registration before promoting the link: you'll see exactly what the participant will see.
