Add On Sport

Event information

Configure your event's basic data in Add On Sport: name, URL, sport, dates, location, contact, visibility, limits, and restrictions.

In Settings → Event information you edit the fundamental data of the event.

Description

Event name

The public name that participants will see

Event URL

The public web path. The platform checks that it is not in use

Sport

Type of event sport

Modality

Modality within the sport (with the option to specify a custom one)

Distance

Race distance (or custom distance)

Description

Descriptive text for the event

If you change the event URL once shared, old links will stop working.

Dates

  • Start date and end date of the event
  • Registration start and end: the period during which the website accepts registrations. Registrations must close before or at the start of the event

Location

Country, postal code, and municipality (the province is filled in automatically when selecting the municipality) and, optionally, the full address with additional information.

Contact

Main email (required), secondary email, and contact phone number for the event.

Event visibility

  • Public: visible on the platform's events page
  • Hidden: only accessible via direct link

Limits and restrictions

  • Participant limit and team limit: maximum capacity of the event
  • Allow duplicates: controls whether the same ID can register more than once in the event or in the same fee
  • Restrictions by ID/License: limits registration to a list of authorized documents, adding them one by one or importing them from an Excel file. Restrictions can be associated with specific fees

Other settings

  • Messages: welcome and thank you texts ("Welcome to the event", "Thank you for participating") and public message
  • Sponsors: select which organizer sponsors are shown in this event
  • Registration insurance: configuration of the insurance associated with registrations
  • Bib exchange: allows participants to exchange their bib
  • Commissions: who assumes the platform's commission (organizer or participant)
  • Header and footer content: custom HTML for the event website
