Families (households) and guardians

Group parents and children, choose who pays and which email receives receipts and notices.

Where to find it: People → Families.

A family (household) groups people who live together: the children who train and the adults who pay. Receipts, notices and the message thread go to the family, not to each child.

How to do it

  1. Create the family from People → Families → “New family” or from a minor’s record (“Create family”).

  2. Add members and set the role (guardian, child). Mark the main payer and the billing email.

  3. If a guardian wants a saved card or direct debit, add it in Administration → Payment methods on the family.

  4. Sibling discounts are configured in fees (second sibling −20 %, for example) and apply automatically to families.

Keep in mind

  • Every guardian in the family sees all children and the same payments in their personal area.

  • If a minor has no family, their charges go to their own record and nobody sees them in the personal area until a guardian signs in with the given email.

Frequently asked questions

Separated parents?

Create two families if each pays their own, or one family with two guardians if they share payments. Each guardian signs in with their own email.

Can I change the payer?

Yes, in the family record; future charges go to the new payer.
